German U-Boat Footage

This video displays some footage from a German U-Boat that was later caputured.  What would happen if the United States had gotten ahold of this footage earlier in advance? Would American war efforts been sped up or would the sinking of the Lusintania or the Zimmerman Telegraph needed to have occured for our entry into the world war?  What if more footage like this leaked into American Society?
